After a long week, finally it’s the red-lettered day, yes it is Sunday. Sundays not only relax us but tell us that a new week is ahead and we can always start afresh. This well-deserved break helps us to leave behind the acrimony and exhaustion of the past week and revive ourselves for the upcoming week.
Don’t dwell on the past:
If you had a hard week at work or you were burdened with domestic drudgery, then instead of lamenting over the last week’s schedule, let yourself soak in the peace of the present.
Try practicing meditation or mindfulness if you find it hard to focus on the present moment.
“Wash away” the frustration:
Plan to start the new week with more enthusiasm. How about cleaning your washroom so that you can pamper yourself on the Monday morning? Start by scanning the ceiling and walls of the bathroom. If you find them covered with vapour, dust, or other undesired ply then take a broom and clean them.
Now take a look at the bathroom furniture if your shower is clogged it the bathroom faucets are devoid of sheen then use vinegar to revive their sparkle. Take a bowl of vinegar in a bag and immerse the shower head in the vinegar. Leave it overnight. Next morning take a sponge and wipe away the salt and rust off the shower. Vinegar will also open the clogged pores. You can do the same for the bathroom faucets too.
If your bathroom tiles are covered with moss then use your regular toilet cleaner to clean them. Cleaning your commode with a soft drink can do wonders for your commode and keep it safe too.
Add a zing:
Lastly, invest in quality bathroom freshener to ward off the pungent odour of the bathroom. Keep some essential oils handy to add to your bathwater on the Monday morning.
